Día 306 · Lenguaje persuasivo y manejo de preguntas
⏱️ Duración total: ~3 h 15 min — Clase 60 min · Ejercicios 60 min · Reto 60 min · Quiz ~15 min.
- Reforzarás afirmaciones con lenguaje enfático (it is X that..., what we need is...).
- The numbers speak for themselves: ... / Let me put this into perspective:...
- That's a 30% increase — in just six months. (el contraste temporal persuade)
- This isn't just about cost; it's about reputation. (reencuadre: it's not X, it's Y)
- Citar fuente da autoridad: According to a recent study,... / Industry data shows that...
- It's faster, cheaper and more reliable.
- We will reduce costs, improve quality and increase satisfaction.
- So, what does this mean for us? / Why does this matter? / The question is: can we afford not to act?
- Neutro: We need better data. → Enfático: What we need is better data. / It is better data that we need.
- The reason (why) sales fell is that we lost two clients.
- All we have to do is act now.
Regla 5 — Verbos y adverbios persuasivos.
- Verbos fuertes: I'm convinced that..., I strongly believe..., I'd urge you to..., I recommend...
- Adverbios: clearly, undoubtedly, significantly, dramatically, by far (this is by far the best option).
- Llamada a la acción clara: So, my recommendation is... / The next step is to... / Let's act now.
Regla 6 — Manejo de preguntas (Q&A).
- Invitar: Does anyone have any questions?
- Ganar tiempo / mostrar escucha: That's a very good question. / I'm glad you asked that.
- Parafrasear para asegurar y ganar segundos: So, if I understand correctly, you're asking whether...?
- Responder estructurado: There are two parts to that. First,... Second,...
- Redirigir lo fuera de tema: That's slightly outside today's scope, but happy to discuss it afterwards.
- No saber con dignidad: That's a great point. I don't have that figure to hand, but I'll follow up by email.
- Pregunta hostil: agradece, no te defiendas a la defensiva: I understand your concern. Let me address that directly:...
- Cerrar: If there are no more questions, thank you all again.

Estructura It + be + foco + that/who: It was the marketing team that delivered this. (= Fue el equipo de marketing quien...). Atribuye o resalta.
Pronunciación y notas de uso
- persuade /pəˈsweɪd/ — per-SUÉID; sustantivo persuasion /pəˈsweɪʒn/.
- evidence es incontable: ✗ an evidence / evidences → ✓ evidence / a piece of evidence.
- Las estructuras enfáticas piden entonación: sube y haz pausa antes del foco (What we need is... [pausa] better data).
- ✗ an evidence / many evidences → ✓ evidence / a lot of evidence / pieces of evidence.
- ✗ What we need is to better data. → ✓ What we need is better data.
- ✗ I am convinced of that this works. → ✓ I'm convinced that this works.
- ✗ Responder a la defensiva una pregunta hostil ("That's not true!") → ✓ I understand your concern. Let me address that directly:...
- ✗ Inventar un dato si no se sabe → ✓ I don't have that figure to hand; I'll follow up by email.
- ✗ Repeat the question, please? (brusco) → ✓ Sorry, could you rephrase the question?
- ✗ Calco "Make a question" → ✓ ask a question.
Mini-lectura de ejemplo (cierre persuasivo + Q&A)
Persuasive close: So, what does this mean for us? The numbers speak for themselves: we can be faster, cheaper and more reliable. This isn't just about cost; it's about reputation. What we need is one decision today. I'd strongly urge you to approve the pilot.
Q&A: Q: Isn't this too risky? A: That's a very good question, and I understand your concern. Let me address that directly: the pilot is small-scale and reversible. So, if I understand correctly, you're asking about exposure — and the answer is, it's limited.
