📖 Clase (60 min)
La clave de hoy es que un viaje real encadena verbos: We left home, drove to the airport, caught the flight and flew to Rome.
1. Verbos de movimiento en transporte. Memoriza estas parejas como bloques:
- drive → drove (conducir): I drove to the coast. (Conduje a la costa.)
- fly → flew (volar): We flew to London. (Volamos a Londres.)
- ride → rode (montar/ir en bici, moto, caballo): She rode a bike. (Montó en bici.)
- run → ran (correr): I ran to catch the bus. (Corrí para coger el bus.)
- catch → caught (coger un transporte, atrapar): We caught the early train. (Cogimos el tren temprano.)
2. Verbos de "tiempo y proceso" del viaje:
- spend → spent (pasar tiempo / gastar): We spent two days there. (Pasamos dos días allí.)
- lose → lost (perder): I lost my ticket. (Perdí mi billete.)
- pay → paid (pagar): She paid for the taxi. (Pagó el taxi.)
- cost → cost (costar — no cambia): The flight cost €90. (El vuelo costó 90 €.)
- bring → brought (traer): They brought their suitcases. (Trajeron sus maletas.)
3. Otros muy frecuentes: eat → ate, drink → drank, sleep → slept, wake → woke, meet → met, speak → spoke, write → wrote, read → read (¡se pronuncia /red/!), understand → understood, stand → stood.
