Introducción y contexto

Penúltima lección de contenido. Hoy es un ensayo general de las destrezas receptivas (Reading + Use of English + Listening). Mañana harás el simulacro completo (incluye Writing y Speaking) como proyecto-capstone del curso. La clave de hoy: practicar en condiciones de examen reales — reloj, sin pausas, sin diccionario, sin móvil — porque el rendimiento bajo presión es una destreza en sí misma.

🚀 Reto del día (60 min)

Tarea: "Receptive mock" — simulacro cronometrado de receptivas.

  1. (35 min) Haz un Reading & Use of English completo de un sample oficial (Cambridge C1 o IELTS Academic Reading), cronometrado y sin ayudas.
  2. (15 min) Haz una sección de Listening de un sample oficial, una sola reproducción como en el examen.
  3. (10 min) Corrige con la clave. Cuenta aciertos y, sobre todo, clasifica cada error por tipo y escribe la regla/estrategia que lo habría evitado.

  1. ¿Skim antes o después de leer las preguntas? Explica el orden ideal.
  2. En multiple choice, ¿la respuesta repite o parafrasea?
  3. Open cloze: ¿qué tipo de palabras suele pedir?
  4. Si el hablante se corrige, ¿qué vale?
  5. Prefijo negativo de expected: …
  6. Key word transformation: límite típico de palabras.
  7. ¿Debes dejar respuestas en blanco? ¿Por qué?
  8. ¿Qué haces si te atascas 5 min en una pregunta?
  9. ¿Por qué clasificar los errores y no solo contarlos?
  10. Una estrategia de control de nervios antes de empezar.

  1. Orden ideal: skim el texto → lee la pregunta → scan la zona → lee al detalle. 2. Parafrasea. 3. Gramaticales (preposiciones, artículos, auxiliares, relativos, conectores). 4. La última corrección. 5. unexpected. 6. 2–5 palabras (contracción = 1). 7. No: siempre responde (no penaliza acertar por descarte). 8. Márcala y sigue; vuelve si sobra tiempo. 9.
