📖 Clase (60 min)
| Certeza | Forma | Ejemplo |
|---|---|---|
| 100% | presente simple | She is a nurse. |
| ~95% sí | must (+ be/-ing) | She must be a nurse. |
| ~50% | might / may / could | She might be a nurse. |
| ~5% | can't (+ be/-ing) | She can't be a nurse. |
| 0% | negativo simple | She isn't a nurse. |
Resumen 2 — La escala de certeza (pasado)
| Certeza | Forma | Ejemplo |
|---|---|---|
| ~95% sí | must have + participio | She must have left. |
| ~50% | might/may/could have + participio | She might have left. |
| ~5% | can't / couldn't have + participio | She can't have left. |
Reglas de oro:
- Negativo de la deducción = can't (presente) / can't have (pasado). NUNCA mustn't.
- Modal + base (presente) o modal + have + participio (pasado). Sin to, sin -s.
- Para preguntar especulando: Could/Might + sujeto + verbo?
- Es have, no of: must have, no "must of".
Resumen 3 — Léxico y especulación
- Sustantivos: clue, evidence, suspect, witness, motive, alibi, culprit.
- Verbos: suspect/accuse of + -ing, deny/admit + -ing, prove, rule out, figure out.
- Expresiones: I bet…, I reckon…, It looks like…, Apparently…, No wonder…, That would explain….
- Conectores: because, since, so, therefore, that's why, in conclusion.
