📖 Clase (60 min)
- The phone is ringing. — I 'll get it! → Yo lo cojo. (decisión instantánea)
- I'm tired. I think I 'll go to bed. → Creo que me iré a la cama.
Regla 2 — will para predicciones (opinión/creencia sin prueba).
- I think it will rain tomorrow. → Creo que lloverá mañana.
- She 'll probably be late. → Probablemente llegará tarde.
Regla 3 — will para ofertas, promesas y propuestas.
- I 'll help you with that. → Te ayudaré con eso. (oferta)
- I 'll call you, I promise. → Te llamaré, lo prometo. (promesa)
Regla 4 — be going to para planes/intenciones decididos de antemano.
- We 're going to visit Italy this summer. → Vamos a visitar Italia este verano. (ya decidido)
- I 'm going to start the gym next week. → Voy a empezar el gimnasio.
Regla 5 — be going to para predicciones con evidencia presente (lo veo venir).
- Look at those clouds! It 's going to rain. → ¡Mira esas nubes! Va a llover.
- He 's going to fall! → ¡Se va a caer! (lo veo a punto)
Regla 6 — Resumen del contraste.

Gramática a fondo
| Forma | Estructura | Negativo | Pregunta |
|---|---|---|---|
| will | will + infinitivo | won't + inf. | Will + sujeto + inf.? |
| be going to | am/is/are going to + inf. | 'm/isn't/aren't going to | Am/Is/Are + sujeto + going to + inf.? |
- Contracciones: I'll, you'll, he'll…; won't = will not.
- be going to a menudo se pronuncia "gonna" en habla informal (no en escritura formal).
Pronunciación y notas de uso
- I'll /aɪl/ — sonido único; no digas "ai uil" siempre.
- won't /wəʊnt/ → "wóunt" (no confundir con want /wɒnt/).
- going to relajado → "gonna" /ˈɡənə/ en conversación; en examen escrito usa going to.
- I think + will: para predicciones de opinión es la combinación más natural.
Errores comunes del hispanohablante
- ✗ I will go to the gym next week (plan ya decidido) → ✓ I'm going to go / I'm going to start the gym. (plan → going to)
- ✗ The phone is ringing — I'm going to get it. → ✓ I'll get it. (decisión espontánea → will)
- ✗ I will to help you. → ✓ I'll help you.
- ✗ He is going to fall dicho como plan → ojo: aquí es predicción con evidencia (correcto), pero no para una intención voluntaria.
- ✗ I'm going to can swim → ✓ I'll be able to swim / I'm going to learn to swim.
- ✗ Will you going to come? → ✓ Will you come? / Are you going to come?
