📖 Clase (60 min)

Introducción y contexto

Esta semana has construido toda la maquinaria del comparativo: -er than, more ... than, less ... than, as ... as. Hoy la pones a trabajar en uno de los temas más útiles y comunes en conversación, exámenes y viajes: comparar ciudades o lugares para vivir. ¿Es más cara Madrid o Barcelona? ¿Cuál tiene mejor transporte? ¿Dónde se vive más tranquilo? Aprenderás el vocabulario preciso (cost of living, public transport, nightlife) y a organizar tu opinión con conectores. Es la antesala perfecta para el reto de comparar dos ciudades de mañana.

1. Vocabulario funcional para describir una ciudad. Combínalo con los comparativos:

• Barcelona is more crowded than Toledo.

• cost of living y public transport son colocaciones fijas: apréndelas como bloque.
• pollution → "polúshon" (acento en la segunda sílaba); climate → "kláimat", no "klimáit".
