📖 Clase (60 min)
Introducción y contexto
Hasta ahora has hablado del pasado solo en afirmativo: I went, she bought, we saw.
No dices didn't went, dices didn't go.
1. Estructura negativa: Sujeto + did not / didn't + verbo en forma base + complemento.
- I didn't go to the party. (No fui a la fiesta.) — NO didn't went.
- She didn't see the film. (No vio la película.) — NO didn't saw.
- We didn't have time. (No tuvimos tiempo.) — NO didn't had.
2. ¿Por qué forma base? Porque did es el pasado del auxiliar do. Él ya marca el pasado. El verbo principal solo aporta el significado, en su forma "limpia": did + not + go = "no fui".
3. Funciona igual con verbos regulares e irregulares:
- Regular: I worked → I didn't work. They played → They didn't play.
- Irregular: He went → He didn't go. We bought → We didn't buy.
4. Contracción. En conversación casi siempre se usa didn't (= did not). Did not completo solo en lenguaje muy formal o para enfatizar: I did NOT say that!
5. Excepción: to be. El verbo be NO usa didn't. I wasn't tired. They weren't at home. (No I didn't be.)

Gramática a fondo
| Persona | Afirmativa | Negativa |
|---|---|---|
| I | I went | I didn't go |
| You | You saw | You didn't see |
| He/She/It | She had | She didn't have |
| We | We bought | We didn't buy |
| They | They played | They didn't play |
Con anything/anyone/anywhere: tras una negación se usa any-, no nothing/nobody: I didn't see anything. (No vi nada.) — NO I didn't see nothing (doble negación, incorrecta en inglés estándar).
- Liaison: didn't eat → "dídn-it"; didn't understand → "dídn-anderstán".
- Da un poco de fuerza a didn't y al verbo: "I didn't GO".
