📖 Clase (60 min)

Introducción y contexto

Ya sabes afirmar (I was) y negar (I wasn't). Were you tired?).

Además aprenderás las short answers (respuestas cortas), que en inglés son obligatorias para sonar natural. En español respondemos "Sí" / "No"; en inglés respondemos "Yes, I was" / "No, I wasn't". Responder solo "Yes" o "No" suena cortante e incompleto.

Explicación detallada (regla por regla)

1. La regla de la inversión. Afirmativo: You were tired. → Pregunta: Were you tired?

Was / Were + sujeto + (complemento) + ?

2. Tabla de preguntas:

Pronombre Pregunta
I Was I…?
You Were you…?
He/She/It Was he/she/it…?
We Were we…?
They Were they…?

3. Short answers (respuestas cortas). Estructura: Yes/No + sujeto + was/were (n't).

Pregunta No
Were you tired? Yes, I was. No, I wasn't.
Was she there? Yes, she was. No, she wasn't.
Were they happy? Yes, they were. No, they weren't.
Was it good? Yes, it was. No, it wasn't.

Reglas de oro de las short answers:

4. Preguntar por la existencia: Was there…? / Were there…?

5. Encadenar preguntas (mini-conversación):
