📖 Clase (60 min)
Caja 1 — Solo GERUNDIO (-ing): enjoy, finish, avoid, mind, suggest, practise, keep, miss, admit, deny, recommend, can't stand, can't help, give up, feel like, look forward to + preposiciones (good at, interested in, without, after…) + gerundio como sujeto (Swimming is fun).
Caja 2 — Solo INFINITIVO (to + verbo): want, would like, decide, hope, need, plan, promise, learn, offer, agree, refuse, manage, expect, afford, choose, seem + propósito (to buy = "para comprar") + tras adjetivos (easy to learn) + something to do.
Caja 3 — AMBAS, mismo sentido: start, begin, continue, like, love, hate, prefer.
Caja 4 — AMBAS, sentido distinto: stop, remember, forget, try, regret, go on, mean.
- stop -ing = dejar de · stop to = parar para
- remember -ing = recordar lo hecho · remember to = acordarse de hacer
- forget -ing = olvidar recuerdo · forget to = olvidar hacer
- try -ing = probar solución · try to = esforzarse
Resumen 2 — Estructuras especiales
- verbo + objeto + to + verbo: I want you to help me. (¡sin that!)
- Tras modales: infinitivo sin to (I can swim).
- would rather + verbo (sin to) · would rather X than Y · would rather not.
- prefer X to Y · would prefer to + verbo.
- look forward to + -ing (la to aquí es preposición).
