Día 81 · Presente continuo para planes futuros
⏱️ Duración total: ~3 h 15 min — Clase 60 min · Ejercicios 60 min · Reto 60 min · Quiz ~15 min.
1. La forma no cambia: be + -ing.
- I'm working* now.* → acción ahora.
- I'm working* tomorrow.* → plan futuro (mañana trabajo).
- We're having* dinner with the Smiths on Saturday.* (Hemos quedado a cenar el sábado.)
- She's flying* to London next week.* (Vuela a Londres la semana que viene — billete comprado.)
- I'm seeing* the dentist at 4 p.m.* (Tengo cita con el dentista a las 4.)
3. Marcadores de tiempo futuro que activan este uso: tomorrow, tonight, this evening, next week/month, on Monday, at 5 p.m., soon, in an hour.
- ✓ I'm meeting John tomorrow. (plan fijado)
- ✗ It's raining tomorrow. (predicción) → mejor It's going to rain tomorrow. (futuro, próximas semanas).

Preguntas sobre planes (muy útiles):
- What are you doing this weekend? (¿Qué planes tienes este finde?)
- Are you doing anything tonight? (¿Haces algo esta noche?)
- Where are you going for your holidays? (¿Adónde vas de vacaciones?)
Pronunciación y notas de uso
- La pregunta What are you doing this weekend? es la forma estándar de preguntar planes. Apréndela como bloque.
- I'm seeing the doctor = tengo cita. No confundir con I see the doctor (lo veo / lo entiendo).
- En respuestas a invitaciones se usa muchísimo: "Sorry, I can't — I'm meeting my parents on Saturday."
Errores comunes del hispanohablante
- ✗ I meet John tomorrow. (presente simple para plan personal) → ✓ I'm meeting* John tomorrow.*
- ✗ Tomorrow I will go to the dentist. (cuando es cita ya fijada, will suena menos natural) → ✓ Tomorrow I'm going* to the dentist.* / I have an appointment.
- ✗ What you doing this weekend? → ✓ What are you doing this weekend?
- ✗ It's raining tomorrow. → ✓ It's going to rain tomorrow. (predicción del clima, no plan).
- ✗ I'm having 20 years next month. → ✓ I'm turning 20 next month. (cumplir años ≠ continuo de have).
Mini-diálogo de ejemplo
A: Are you doing anything this weekend? B: Yes, I'm pretty busy. On Saturday I'm meeting Lucía for lunch, and in the evening we're going to a concert. A: Nice! And Sunday? B: I'm visiting my grandparents. They're cooking a big meal! A: Sounds great. I'm flying to Paris on Monday for work. B: Wow! What time are you leaving?
—Voy a visitar a mis abuelos. ¡Van a cocinar una gran comida! —Suena genial.
