📖 Clase (60 min)
- It's* raining.* (Está lloviendo.) — ✗ Is raining.
- It's* cold.* (Hace frío.) — ✗ Is cold. / ✗ It has cold.
2. Dos estructuras principales:
- It's + adjetivo (estado del tiempo): It's sunny / cold / hot / cloudy / windy. (Hace sol / frío / calor / está nublado / hace viento.)
- It's + verbo-ing (fenómeno en curso, presente continuo): It's raining / snowing / freezing. (Está lloviendo / nevando / helando.)
3. Clima general vs. clima ahora (repaso del Día 78):
- In summer it is very hot here. (verdad general → presente simple)
- Look outside — it's getting* dark.* (ahora → presente continuo)
- It rains a lot in winter. (rutina/clima típico → simple)
- It's raining* right now.* (ahora → continuo)
4. La pregunta estrella: What's the weather like? = ¿Qué tiempo hace? (No traduzcas literal "How is the weather" aunque también se oye; What … like? es la más natural.)
- What's the weather like today? — It's cloudy and a bit cold.
- What's the weather like in your city? — It's usually sunny. (general → simple)

Gramática a fondo
Tabla de estructuras del clima:
| Estructura | Uso | Ejemplo |
|---|---|---|
| It's + adjetivo | estado | It's sunny / windy / cold. |
| It's + -ing | fenómeno ahora | It's raining / snowing. |
| It + verbo (simple) | clima típico/general | It rains a lot in autumn. |
| It's getting + adj. | cambio en curso | It's getting cold. |
| There's + sustantivo | hay (fenómeno) | There's a storm. / There's a lot of wind. |
| The temperature is… | datos | It's 30 degrees. |
- "Hace 25 grados" → It's 25 degrees. (con be, sujeto it).
Errores comunes del hispanohablante
- ✗ Is raining. → ✓ It's* raining.* (Falta el sujeto it.)
- ✗ It has cold. / I have cold. → ✓ It's* cold. / I**'m** cold.* (El clima y el frío personal van con be, no have.)
- ✗ Today is making sun. (calco de "hace sol") → ✓ Today it's sunny / the sun is shining.
- ✗ It's raining a lot in winter. (clima típico) → ✓ It rains a lot in winter.
- ✗ How is the weather? (no es incorrecto pero suena menos natural) → ✓ What's the weather like?
- ✗ It does cold. → ✓ It is cold.

Traducción: —¡Buenos días! ¿Qué tiempo hace hoy? —No muy bueno. Está lloviendo y hace bastante viento. —¿Otra vez? ¡Aquí siempre llueve en noviembre! —Lo sé. Y cada vez hace más frío. Solo hay 8 grados. —¿Vas a llevar paraguas? —Sí, y un abrigo calentito. ¡Mira, está empezando a nevar!
