📖 Clase (60 min)
Síntesis 1 — There is / There are
| Forma | Singular | Plural |
|---|---|---|
| Afirmativo | There is / There's a cup. | There are five cups. |
| Negativo | There isn't a cup. | There aren't any cups. |
| Pregunta | Is there a cup? | Are there any cups? |
| Resp. + | Yes, there is. | Yes, there are. |
| Resp. − | No, there isn't. | No, there aren't. |
Recuerda: "hay" ≠ have. Y there is (existencia) ≠ it is (descripción de algo conocido).
Síntesis 2 — Some / Any
- some → afirmativas (There's some milk) + ofrecimientos/peticiones (Would you like some tea?).
- any → negativas (There isn't any milk) y preguntas neutras (Is there any sugar?).
- a / an → un solo objeto contable (There's an apple).
Síntesis 3 — Contable vs. incontable
- Contable: egg, apple, chair, bottle → tienen plural; van con many, a few, How many.
- Incontable: milk, bread, water, rice, money, fruit, information → sin plural; van con much, a little, How much.
Síntesis 4 — Cantidades
| Incontable | Contable plural | |
|---|---|---|
| ¿Cuánto? | How much milk? | How many eggs? |
| Negativa | not much milk | not many eggs |
| Afirmativa | a lot of milk | a lot of eggs |
| Poca cantidad | a little milk | a few eggs |
| Exceso | too much sugar | too many people |
Vocabulario clave (consolidación)
| English | Pronunciación aprox. | Español |
|---|---|---|
| there is/are | der is / der ar | hay |
